Born
and reared in Panama City, Florida, Curt has spent most of his life
involved with music. He plays drums, trumpet, and bass guitar.
Growing up in a Christian home, his father was the congregational
song leader and Sunday School Superintendent, while his mother
taught Sunday school and was the church pianist for many years at
Central Assembly of God in Panama City, Florida. He received his
first instrument at age 3.
“In February of 1972 I gave my heart to Jesus and ask Him to lead me
in His paths and while playing a trumpet solo in the a.m. service at
youth camp for the Assembly of God Churches in 1974, I felt that God
was call me into the ministry in some way. I never was able to shake
the calling of God. Everything I did was trouble. Everything I tried
fell apart. However, when I finally let God have full control over
every step I took, things began to change. I now have a great
family, a wife dedicated to God and one that stands beside me and
lifts me up in prayer daily to the Lord and I released my first solo
cd In September of 2006”. I am an active member of Galilean Baptist
Church where I lead the congregational singing and sing in the choir
when not ministering in other churches.”
Curt most recently sang baritone with the “Suwannee River Boys” out
of Jackson, Georgia. They had great airplay of their single release
to national radio, “He’s Still in Control”, which featured him.
